# Desloppy

> Desloppy is the editor for your AI. Paste a draft (or upload a Word, PowerPoint, PDF, text or Markdown file) and it
> gives a Slop score: how much the text sounds like default chatbot writing. It marks the exact lines that read like
> AI slop and gives a plain fix for each, so the writer changes those lines and keeps the rest in their own words.
> It works on the website, inside Claude and ChatGPT as an MCP connector, and through a REST API.

Desloppy does not write for you. It finds the sloppy lines and says what to change; you, or your own assistant, do the
rewrite. The Slop score describes how text sounds, never who wrote it: it is a probability, not proof, and should never
be used as evidence against a person.

## What it checks
- Kinds of writing, each with its own rules: email, essay or article, school essay, presentation (slides and speaker
  notes), social post (LinkedIn and similar), fiction, or auto.
- English only today. Arabic support is in progress.
- Slop score bands: 0-10 Clean, 11-30 A little sloppy, 31-60 Sloppy, 61-89 Very sloppy, 90-99 Pure slop, 100 Peak slop.
